Vehicle Detail
This 1975 Ford F-150 Ranger Super Cab is a rare find in super survivor condition. Ordered with Power Steering, Power Front Disc Brakes, Air Conditioning(needs to be serviced) . Dual Tanks which both still work, with a flip of the factory dash switch.. This truck has spent most of it's life in Dry central Oregon and now eastern Oregon. This Ford is Solid... And will put a smile on your face every time you turn down a dirt road. This pick-up is right at home going 50 down a dirt road or 65 down the freeway. Steering is spot on, Brakes have been completely gone through by Les Schaub tire company and work perfectly. Truck behaves solid and tight at all times. All gauges, speedometer, wipers, heater, lights, turn signals, and horn work as they should. New Heavy Duty Sears Diehard Battery The radio has been upgraded to a AM-FM cassette with a 3 band equalizer pushing at least 5 watts of power.. And comes with a unknown cassette stuck in it.. 1975 was the first year for the F-150 and the only year the F-150 and Ranger name were used together. Considered the Heavy Half ton the F-150 came with a 6,050lb. GVW rating. This truck was specked with High Compression M code engine 390 6.4 liter 4BBL. That could be ran on either Leaded Or Unleaded fuel. This was the last year for the 390 replaced with the meek 400 for 1976. This Big Block was backed up by the 17 Bolt pan C-6 Automatic which set the standard for heavy duty Automatics. 3:73 gears and a limited slip rear end..This 390 has always been serviced on time. And since the early 80's the owner was a ams oil dealer so only 10-40 synthetic oil has been use. This 390 is strong and full of Torque.. Also in the late 90's was treated to a new set of chrome platted Doug Thorley Headers Professionally installed and into a single 3in pipe all the way out the back into a single flowmaster and out the right rear side behind the tire exit! New trucks beware at the stop light This old girl takes a back seat to no one when the light turns green..The C-6 is a huge compliment to the torque poping your head head back when it shifts.I've been using this truck around my place for the last couple of years. And love the fact that the bed is low to ground and truck is so easy to get in and out of. The body and paint are completely Original to the truck true survivor. Body is very straight all chrome trim is present, All glass is good. Paint is all there but is faded from 36yrs of weather paint on hood is getting thin. The grill and front bumper is very nice. Rear bumper is good but could use a new coat of grey paint.. Bed is nice but has surface scratches. The body also has some scratches, and chips. The interior is good, with a perfect dash, headliner, drivers seat is covered because of a couple of splits on the drivers side. Rear jump seats are perfect and include their seat belts. Carpet is good except for a hole on the drivers side.. Overall this is a very cool old truck, Survivor And unmolested That looks Runs and Stops just as it should. That is a Strong Competent driver. And would look amazing pulling a vintage camp trailer. Down the road.. Truck is sold where is, As is, with no warranty!! Will assist your shipper within reason. Will except bank wire only.
