This is a 1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass 4D which was seized by the Milford Delaware Police Department during a Criminal Investigation. The Superior Court of Delaware has awarded this vehicle to the City of Milford Police Department and we currently hold a clear title. The vehicle was running at the time of seizure. We make no warranty as to the mechanical condition of this vehicle and it is being sold AS-IS. Buyer is responsible to remove the vehicle within 10 days of auction close by whatever means neccessary, ie.... Tow Truck, Trailer, roll back, etc.... Exterior of the vehicle has spots on trunk where clear coat is peeling and someone has scratched graffiti into the paint. There are also areas of clear coat peeling in various spots about the vehicle. It has scratches, nicks, and dents but nothing seems to be severely damaged. All glass appears intact and tires are inflated and have serviceable tread. The interior appears to be in good shape with no major rips, tears or damage. The ash-tray is seperated from the dash. It appears to be intact and may be able to be re-secured. Stereo appears new, and is aftermarket. The vehicle does not power up with the key and as it has sat pending court preceedings for about 6 months, it is highly likely the battery is bad. For that reason, we can't make any statements about the driveability of the vehicle other than it was being driven when stopped and subsequently seized. By Delaware Law, the proceeds of this sale are sent to the State of Delaware and deposited in a law enforcement assistance fund governed by the State.The City of Milford does not profit. For this reason, there will be no repairs made to the vehicle before or after it is sold. Vehicle may be inspected by appointment by Mon-Fri 9:00 AM -3:00 PM. Vehicle is sold AS-IS with no warranty expressed nor implied. The City of Milford accepts Cash, Personal Checks, Cashier Checks and Money Orders. We are unable to accept Credit Cards and do not use Pay-Pal. The City will not finance, will not end the auction to sell privately. Full payment is expected within 10 days of auction end. Buyer must contact seller within 3 days of auction end and give details for title transfer as well as anticipated payment and pick-up date. If Buyer is using a private shipper, we will do our best to move the vehicle to a convenient spot at the storage facility so that shipper can have easy access. The City of Milford will pay no shipping charges and will not move the vehicle from the storage facility for shipping.
