Vehicle Detail
If you have been watching the big auctions on TV you know that classic trucks are on the rise. And super nice Classic Dodges are not found very often. This truck could be the next big thing at the power auction... Whether your a Mopar enthusiast or simply have a appreciation for vintage pickups, This truck is worthy of your attention. In the possession of the original owner until just a few years ago. Purchased new right here in Oregon on December 7th 1973 and has remained here all it's life. This was a special order truck from the Dodge dealer. Ordered with Power Brakes, Power Steering , And air conditioning. She has been cared for and maintained since day-one. Adult owned and never abused. Protected and parked inside. The body is rust-free and amazingly straight. Sighting down the sides is impressive without ripples or washboard effect which is hard to accomplish with glossy black paint. Body panel fit and alignment are excellent and the doors open and close perfectly. repainted years ago and with a few exceptions has been parked indoors. The paint is nice, holds a very high shine with a mirror-like reflections visible in all panels. Again paint is nice but not perfect. A handful of minor blemishes in the form of small chips and superficial scratches ect. can be found on close inspection. But the truck shows and presents itself extremely well. All stainless trim, side moldings, emblems, lenses, and glass are excellent. Original chrome bumpers are very nice. The grille is in mint condition. The life this truck has experienced is obvious at a glance and more apparent the more you look. The result of never being molested or taken off-road and abused. Compliments are never ending every time I drive her... The interior is excellent. The seat, door panels, headliner, and entire dashboard area are exceptional. the original rubber floor covering has one split but still is in nice shape. All lights, speedometer, gauges, wipers, heater, ect, function properly. ( the clock and horn are not) The factory radio has been replaced (thank god) It now has a new Kenwood Am-Fm Cd player all in stalled by professionals. The interior needs no excuses... She's powered by a 383-V8, 727 transmission, with 3:55 gears, and a divorced transfer case, with Warn hubs. The block is a 6-15-70 casting. The 383 preforms very well. Always starts easily and runs smooth. Even and crisp acceleration. And very decent mileage for this truck the last 200 mile trip returned 17.2 mpg at 65-70 I swear... Edelbrock intake and carburetor are near new. Holds good oil pressure at all times. Full Flowmaster dual exhaust system. Authentic Mopar Big Block Sound without being to loud while driving. The transmission has a mild shift kit and operates as it should. The suspension is tight. One finger power steering is nice feature in a full-size 4-wheel drive. The power disc brakes stop nicely... Freeway speeds are comfortable. The A/C is 100% complete and operational but will need a refrigerant charge. The 33 inch BF Goodrich tires are almost new. The correct era vintage American Racing aluminum wheels were purchased decades ago and are in excellent condition... The truck at 37 yrs old is sold as is where is with no warranty . I will help by meeting your shipper here at my location. I accept bank wire only..
