!947 Ford Deluxe coupe. Bought car in 2005 with intent of restoring, street rodding or just driving as is. Car was brought home and put in dry storage and never removed from storage. Car is 95 percent original with exception of dual exhaust being added by previous owner. Has flathead 8 engine with manual transmission. Car has not been started since being drove into storage, has been winterized. Put some new gas in and wouldnt take much to fire her up. All tires are dry cracked and three hold air and 1 with leak but will hold air for loading on trailer. Brake pedal goes to floor , so imagine brakes will need to be bled, brakes feel sticky when trying to roll car, imagine abestis brake lining sweeled up as car was brought home in rain. Everything works on car as far as lights wipers, etc. radio does not. heater works, but lines are not hooked up to heater. All glass is good with minor crazing in some spots along edges, drivers door glass is cracked. Doors open and close like there suppose too, deck lid opens fine. hood opens fine but springs are weak. Interior is all original with no visble tears or holes, just normal wear. headliner no holes, few stains around rear window area. rear floors are solid with no visible rust. front floors are same , with exception of few pinholes in toe board. Body is in very nice shape, has been painted once. only one small area of rust, about the size of pencil eraser on right side rocker area. running boards good. trunk floor has been undercoated, but solid floor can, jump up and down no weak spots. Only dent in car is in left front fender small scrape from storage. all chrome on car and in nice shape. bumpers good quality, not show but fine for driver. front bumper looks like it has a little tweak to it. No rust on bottom of doors, windows roll up and down as they should. Selling car due to priorities have changed and with job, just dont have the time to enjoy her. Car will have to be trailered. All it needs is to flush gas tank, put new brakes on, and tires, and can enjoy as is or do an easy restoration or street rod. Also battery tray is rusted from bad battery, have new tray and new battery. Inner fender apron also ate up from acid, but have left and right nos aprons. have new glove box tray and some misc. pieces that will go with car. Car has a reasonable reserve and is being listed only on ebay, so wont be pulled before it ends. Please call with any questions, as I sure i have left something out possibly.
