This is a fun car to drive, the diesel has the torque to get you going and the steering holds the curves like it's on rails the whole time being very elegant. MANY HARD TO FIND OPTIONS that were usually only found on the GLS, including --good looking 17" rims . (original VW rims) Fuel mileage has been 38-44 MPG on the highway, 33-35 in town, and yet this car is fast, it will push you in your seat the low end torque in these diesels are amazing. Plenty of power with this new-for-2004 engine 134 HP among other features, the standard GLS included , keyless entry, anti-lock brakes, traction control, locking differential, upgraded Monsoon sound system with very strong bass, projector headlamps, fog lights, vents for rear seat, pollen filter, trip computer with fuel mileage, and a sunroof,. There are absolutely no problems with this car. Cold air (will freeze you out) and flawless performance. Tires are new (225/45R17 Goodyear Assurance Fuel Max 180.00 a pop), battery is new Duralast 8 yr battery 765 cold craking amps). all services up to date including all new filters oil fuel air cabin etc., wiper blades are new., brakes roters great shape,car in inspected and ready to go. Exterior color Silverstone Gray (no dents or dings, smooth high gloss metallic finish) Interior color Gray (light) with dark gray accents, very high end look (very thick and plush) 5 speed Tiptronic transmission. Please note one rim has some scratches, The car fax show 2 accidents one minor, the other no info. I looked this car over with the dealer and there is NO evidence of any body parts being replaced, or any damage except minor fendor benders.
