Vehicle Detail

I apologize for the buyers from my original ad. I've never listed a vehicle before and I failed to set this up auction style like I intended. The only way for me to fix it was to end the item, and create a new one. I'm am selling my 1985 Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE. You can buy it use it for parts, or make it your project car - up to you. This was my daily driver for about 5 years and have gotten a lots of enjoyment out of it. It got too small for longer drives, and so I bought a Lexus for daily commutes. It has been sitting for the past 1-2 years, and currently isn't running. It WAS running VERY strong when I last had it on the road. It just needs some TLC, a new battery, perhaps new plugs, and some tuning to be back to normal. It would be great for someone looking to replace their 13B motor from their tired GSL-SE or use it as a platform for a project. I had a NEW ENGINE built and installed by Rotary Performance in Garland, TX approximately 6 years ago. It is the 13B fuel injected, 3mm street ported version, improving the breathing and stock horse power by a good 40-50 horsepower. I was living in Oklahoma at the time, so I had the car shipped down to the engine builder, where he pulled the block, built the engine, installed it, tuned it, and shipped it back to me. Total cost was around $5,000. I had all new accessories installed at the time as well. The engine has approximately 24,000 miles on it since the build. Compression and apex seals were good when I last drove it. There is a mix of perfectly good and needed replacement parts throughout the vehicle. I think it's too costly to bring it back to life as a daily driver, and frankly, I just don't have the time nor money for it anymore. The 13B street ported motor alone is worth more than the $750 starting bid price. But since it's not currently running, and would need to be pulled and installed into another car, I'm factoring that into my price. The AC system works fine, and just needs to be charged up. There are other fine parts here, but I don't have a working inventory. I'm NOT willing to separate parts - I'm selling the entire car. There are also plenty of non-working parts as well, thus the low price. Power window motors don't work, cruise control no good. Wiper motors needs replacement. Battery currently no good. Brakes probable need work. There is more I'm sure, just haven't given this car any attention for a good 1-2 years since moving to Maryland. I am selling this as is, no warranties or guarantees here. The vehicle would need to be picked up and or shipped in its current condition. I can assist in arranging for pick-up or transport, but the logistics and costs are your responsibility. I reserve the right to end the auction early if I get a fair offer locally or elsewhere. Happy bidding. Please ask me any questions if you any.
