The body is near perfect, the paint is spectacular and the interior is knock-out. Two previous owners could barely average 4,000 miles a year since new and this Corvette's stunning condition accurately reflects that of a car that has, in fact, averaged 11 miles a day. And, this rare rocket rides like a dream with a quality lowering that preserves nearly all of the original car's comfort. The use of the word rare is no exaggeration; 33,682 Corvettes rolled off the Bowling Green assembly line for model year 2000 yet only 2,090 were fixed roof coupes. Called an "FRC" by the Corvette crowd, these low production beauties were originally intended to be entry level models but most (like this car) were well equipped with prices often within a few hundred dollars of the more plentiful hatchback. The reason the front air dam still looks good is because Chevrolet wisely installed it with spring loaded hinges. A great shot to see some smooth fiberglass and fenders filled to the edge with lots of good rubber. The low stance gives this FRC serious street presence and gives it cornering ability than can rearrange internal organs. In every shot, it's hard to not admire the ultra low silhouette. Here we can see the dark tint that helps this car's great air conditioner keep things ice cold inside. We can also see the Baer EradiSpeed slotted/drilled rotors. The body is superb from every angle and the closer you get, the better it looks. This is a top quality Corvette that needs no apologies. Even as low as it is we can still see the chrome plate between the twin pipes, the Hotchkiss sway bar and Borla exhaust.
