Vehicle Detail
1967 Barracuda Fastback, strong 360 and 4 Speed! This 67 Barracuda fastback started life as a 318 v8/manual trans car. It now sports a nicely built 360 with J-code heads and is factory 4 speed manual trans equipped. It has a rare 8-3/4 small bolt pattern limited slip rear. It has manual brakes, steering and is factory tach equipped which like all other gauges in this car functions perfectly. The factory split bench interior is all original believe it or not. I have only replaced the dash bezel, headliner and the rear fastback section carpet in the 10 years i've owned this car. 7 years ago I had the car repainted and it is very nicely done although I will tell you up front there is some bondo in both lower rear quarters as at the time I had car painted lower patch panels where not readily available. Otherwise I would have made sure they where used. However the person that performed the paint and body work has been doing it for over 50 years and his work is exceptional. Still after 7 years the body work and paint are as nice as the day they where done with no bubbling or crumbling or breakdown currently present anywhere. I have won multiple awards at area car shows and events over the years as this car with it's gorgeous base coat/clear coat B-3 blue tends to be a crowd pleaser! I will honestly say that if I where going to keep the car I would at very least replace the front carpet as the years have begun to finally take their toll and certainly the trunk floor as it has begun to rust through especially in spare tire well, which is typical of most A-body Mopars. But both the front and rear floors are still solid. The car runs out strong and is mechanically and electrically sound. I rebuilt the front end with all new upper & lower bushings and tie rod ends about 5 yrs ago and not many miles on it since. There is wheel/hub adapters on the car so that I could mount the Cragars that are currently on the car as it still maintains it's original small chrysler bolt pattern and finding custom wheels for it is very limited. This Barracuda's original paint scheme was B-5 blue with blue interior and as I state above I changed it to a B-3 blue. This is a very nice driver quality car ready to hit the streets for your local cruises and or show events. It by no means is perfect. But I am pretty sure you won't be embarrassed to take it anywhere as it never fails to draw crowds of admirers and tons of thumbs-up wherever I take it. Being a 45 yr old car it is bound to always have some imperfections but in all honesty the old girl has aged fairly well over the years. She definitely will be missed and I can only hope the new owner will continue to show her love as I have. Good Luck and Happy Bidding! Please no 0 (zero) or negative feedback bidders.
