I have for sale my 1996 Ford XLT extended cab F-250 pickup in excellent condition. I have owned this pick up for 3 years and use it primarily to tow my race car trailer. It is a the XLT model with cruise, air, tilt, power windows and locks, power lumber on both front seats. The cab it in excellent condition and painted to match the truck. The gray cloth interior has no rips and is very clean including the rugs. The rear seat folds down for more interior storage. There is a sliding glass window.The radio is new. It is a new Sony CD Radio that sounds great. The bed is 6 foot long. The truck cap is as a Leer with tinted sliding glass. The power is a 7.3 ford Turbo Diesel what was just been serviced. The transmission is a 5 speed stick, what was just serviced as well. The clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing is new 3000 miles ago. The rear end was serviced with the transmission. I believe the gears are 3.73's. This truck will pull whatever you hook to it with ease. The torque is amazing. I do not even know my car trailer is back there. The fuel mileage is very good at 16 MPG towing, and 18 MPG not towing. With the 5 speed transmission and the diesel engine makes this truck the best for towing. This truck has been very well maintained. There are new suspension supports ( metal hangers) front and rear. This maintenance is something most people would not replace, but to keep the truck tight and handling well, they were replaced. The Air Conditioning has a new compressor, and the whole system been serviced. There is a new water pump, and alternator. There are new brakes just done for inspection last month. The front upper and lower ball joints were also replaced for inspection. The truck has a PA 8/12 inspection sticker. The tires have 65% of their tread left The bed fenders have been repaired where most Ford pickups have a corrosion issue around the wheel well. The front bumper has some surface chrome peeling but no rust. The rest of the truck is rust free. The truck is two wheel drive. It is stored in the winter. I do not believe you need 4 wheel drive if you are not pushing a snow plow or mud bogging. The extra fuel mileage without 4 wheel drive is much better and welcome. If you are going in the woods then add a winch. It will guarantee you will not get stuck, 4 wheel does not!! I would drive this truck anywhere. At 147k miles the motor is just breaking in. These Ford 7.3 Turbo diesel engines are 300K plus mile motors with just normal servicing. Please ask me any questions you wish. So please do not expect to see a $40,000 show room condition truck selling for $6400. This will minor flaws, and it does not shine like a new one, but it is well worth what I am asking.
