You are bidding on a fully restored classic mini 1000. Right hand drive (RHD) The history: It was imported to the states form Great Britten about 6 years ago. It now as a clean clear Kentucky Title in hand with matching vin numbers. About 3 years ago I decided to start a restoration project on this car to eliminate all rust and any problems. The restoration: I have replaced every panel that had rust with new body pieces or cut the rust out and welded new metal back in. there is no filler in the car at all. Only skim coat. i replaces many of the mechanical parts as well including breaks, clutch components, master cylinder, slave cylinder, coil pack, choke cable, throttle cable, fuel pump, head lights, turn signals, and a LOT more. All body and mechanical parts came from www.minimania.com The paint is a custom yellow with a PAINTED checker flag roof. The black and white checker has a little purl. There are a few chips from being about 2 year old paint but they have all been touched up and are barely visible now. (see pictures). The interior is in good condition even though I have never touched it. This is the interior that came from England when it was imported. It looks acceptable with the exception of a rip in the back of the front passenger seat. (See pictures). The back seat is the stock fabric from the factory and is in great shape. Door panels in perfect shape as well. The wheels are 10 inch American racing wrapped in Yokohama tires with over 70% tread left. The car: It starts runs and drives perfect in all weather (it has never seen rain since it has been in the states). The 998cc motor has about 65 hp and will cruse at about 55 or 60 mph with no problem giving you about 45 to 50 mpg. The transmission shifts perfect in all four gears and the reveres is also perfect. I daily drove this car all summer with no problems. There is a very small oil leak from where the shifter goes into the transmission. One or two drops a day. there are 5 things that may need attention. turn signals, gas guage, horn, and break lights do not work. i am not the best at electrical You are buying a very nice car for a very cheap price.
