1962 Chevrolet Impala 2 door hard top. I believe it to be 103,752 original miles. Complete car, was in the process of restoring it and that's why it is taken apart. I have another Impala project so that's why I am selling this one. This Impala is one of the most solid projects I have seen to restore. Hood and hood lip are great and no rust through. Floor pans are solid along with braces with the exception of one small area that will need a patch. Trunk lid and trunk pan are excellent with no rust through. Doors and fenders are great, doors are solid underneath. Frame is solid as a rock and it is the factory solid "box" frame with seamless welds. Everything is there and in good condition with the exception of the lower rocker moldings, license plate panels and passenger fender well. This could be put together and made a driver, or since the moldings are off it would be easy to go ahead do the paint and body. It comes with a 283 and powerglide trans (not pictured, at friends house, but will be with car upon pickup). Engine will need to be gone through, or throw in an engine of your choice, it ran when parked but has been sitting awhile. Ermine white with red interior is the way it came factory. All glass is good and comes with extra "Coke bottle" tinted back glass and a side glass. Trim is in great shape and can be reused. This a project car and will need to be restored but it is probably one of the most solid 62's you will see. Interior is complete but will need to be recovered. Clear nc title in my name. The door striker is off on the doors that is why there are gaps, but nothing wrong. I was thinking about putting this car back together cause I figured it would bring a higher price, but I didn't want to defeat the purpose if the buyer was going to take it apart anyways for body and paint. In my opinion this a very easy restore for one of the finest Impalas out there. A lot of the work to getting it there is done. In my opinion it wont need any panel or pan, just paint, body, interior, polish the trim, put the engine in and go!
