Don't know anyting about this VW other than what I see. The body pan is a 100% fabrication and very heavy duty. Made by a pro. Nice welding. The floor does not move when you step on it. I think it's 1/8" thick. It is surface rusted in the picture. I think it was intended for a low rider type body. It is too low for a dune buggy. All the foot controls are in great working condition.The front and rear sections are stock VW and are in very good condition. There's four wheel disc conversion that appears new and was in the final steps of completion needing a brake line from the master cylinder to the rear and a reservoir tank. The disc brake set up has 5 lugs and holds the Firebird wheels with brand new 225/60/14 tires. They have 0 mi. on them. Transaxle is rebuilt according to previous owner. It is just sitting in place, not bolted in. Has steering wheel, starter, clutch and friction disc. Someone put a lot of money into this project. There is no title and I can't find any VIN #. I would think you can use the VIN # on the body that is put on it. After the first bid, there is no reserve.
