This is a no reserve auction for a 1997 Aston Martin DB-7 Volante convertible, dark green/tan interior w/green piping, 78,119 miles, 5 speed Getrag manual transmission, 18" alloy wheels, power windows, door locks, seat, mirrors, cruise, a/c, air bags, ABS brakes, clear title, no reported accidents, was $135,000 new plus federal luxury and gas guzzler tax. Had a new clutch installed at 50,000 miles. The cosmetic condition is good with a few small spots of clear flaking on the hood and trunk areas. There are also a few parking lot dings. Windshield is cracked. Glove box key is lost. Idle sometimes increases from 800 rpm to 1500 rpm due to possible need for oxygen sensors. Headlight lenses need to be polished. Has optional 6 CD changer in trunk, factory AM cover, factory AM accessory polish & car care kit. 0-60 time is 6.1 seconds. These were the first cars made under the then new owner, Ford. Cars were painted in the Rolls Royce Crewe factory and the 6 cyl. supercharged engines were assembled at Tom Walkinshaw racing.
