Vehicle Detail
1983 Grand Prix Brougham V8 305 *ALL Factory Original *VERY RARE* Loaded ONLY 56k documented miles (although looks like less) This is a one family owned vehicle which has always been garaged since new. The "Brougham" model was the absolute TOP OF THE LINE Grand Prix (Base Grand Prixs and the optioned LJ model were cheaper and MUCH more common)- These came absolutely loaded with options (only about 1 in 10 Grand Prix's were the upgraded elite Broughams - and this is quite probably the nicest one like it in existence (look around the net for yourself)- great color combo/super low miles/all factory original/superb condition) Everything is original down to the paint/pin stripes( you know what's there), wire wheels, factory 4 spkr stereo (sounds great), chrome trim, interior, spare tire, etc - everything- in amazing factory original condition. I don't think I have ever driven a more comfortable automobile. Not only does it perform well, but it is a sporty/classy looking car that stands out in comparison with the look alike cars produced in last 20 + years. Turn-key car ready to drive and take to shows, or just enjoy. Options include; A/C, PW, PDL, 6 way-PS, padded landau top, opera lamps, deluxe interior-60/40 pillow top seats, cruise control, intermittent wipers, sound deadener, clock, chrome accents all the way around, and has EVERY gauge possible; oil level, voltmeter, temp gauge, etc. Engine: #'s matching V8 305 with 56k actual miles. This was the best engine you could get in 1983. This car is quiet and smooth- no rattles or knocks whatsoever.(see engine compartment pics to see how clean everything is and it's all there). Body: Classic "G-Body" (Grand Prix, Cutlass, Monte Carlo, etc) Rust free – and you know what’s there because this still has the original paint!! No bubble rust in the common rust areas like around the chrome wheel wells, or anywhere around the padded roof, chrome all the way around is exceptional, - this is super clean and solid. I have also included pictures of the under-body to show you how nice this car is from top to bottom. NOT a concurs 100 point show #1 perfect; (some minor dings/bumps/scratches/etc. (from being in garage)) - would not take much to get there though. Interior: Great condition!! – Dash is perfect and like-new, no rips in the seats-and as comfortable and cushioned as the day it came off the assembly line, original carpet in nice condition, and headliner has absolutely NO sag and is perfect. Mechanics: This is a turn-key car ready to go and show. EVEN the factory optional clock works, and the factory stereo is awesome (the sound-deadiner that was optioned on the Brougham- really cuts out the outside noise). Extra: Have the original owner's manual, the Chilton Repair Manual, as well as a car cover. Contact me with any questions- 262.377.0537 HOME and ask for Sean I would be happy to show the car for those in the area. I am not a dealer. Title is current, clear, and in my name. The only reason I am selling is I currently do not have available garage space, and I would hate to have this car taken out of storage in the winter- just way too nice for that. The car has been averaging around 25 miles/gallon highway. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pictures-I have tried to include a full range of pictures - from the engine to trunk to under-body. If there is something in particular you would like to see let me know and I will be glad to post to the site. Front - notice how nice the chrome trim is throughout this car. Driver's Side -in 2nd picture there appears to be a line in the chrome- that is a reflection off a tire track on the blacktop -look closely Passenger Side Rear -also included is a shot of the under-body Interior Engine Compartment Trunk Miscellaneous- I had a request for some additional pictures so I have included those - none of the common pitting on the chrome and chrome plating - you almost always see rust on the under-side of the chrome bumpers on older cars- not here as you can see. Also, notice the windshield plate is perfect. A question on the condition of the headliner- it is PERFECT original condition (see below) Any questions don't hesitate to call me- 262.751.0537 Sean
