Vehicle Detail

This is a 1967 Cadillac Deville Coupe Convertible. This car was part of a deal I made. I will tell you what I know about the car. I got the car about 1 1/2 years ago. The person I bough it from had recently paint the car and I got the car unfinished from him, when I mean unfinished is that the bumpers are not on the car I do have the bumpers that are on a parts car you are more than welcome to take the bumpers off the parts car and take them at no cost but I will not do the labor of taking them off. The car sports a new $2000 convertible top with brand new motors and rails. The floors on the car are new so there is no rust. The paint job on the car is not perfect but it is not weave or looks like it has tons of bondo ( I was suppose to wet sand the car but I never did). I have never tried to move the car, ever since I got it is being park, no signs of any leaks, as you can see on the video below the engine starts right up and the carburetor seems to be calibrate and don't need adjustment, this is without even doing a tuneup after a year the car started up right away and I took the video. It has REAL BUCKET SEATS separate from each other and with a center console. The front bucket seats and the rear bench seat on the car will need to be upholster but the side panels seems to be all there and I don't see the need to replace them unless you want show quality interior. The light bezels and front bezels are inside of the trunk with lots of goodies and if anything is missing from it I have a parts car you can take whatever you need to finish this one. This model have side skirts and I have listed the decode VIN as you can see the car have lots of options. At this moment I cant find the keys of the car but you can get a locksmith to do a key for $20-$30. I have lost interest on the car and I just want it out of my house as I need the space for other projects im working on. The car was runing perfectly about 2 years ago then my friend started the painting process and it has never ran after it was painted (at that moment it had no problems at all). You can bring your mechanic and have him checkout the car. It really has a lot of potential and you dont need much $ to get out. It has 4 Brand New white walls tires (the original hubcaps are on the trunk) Any questions or specific pictures you will like please just send me a message and I will take it for you. THE RESERVE ON THIS CAR IS LESS THAN WHAT I HAVE SEEING SOME RUST BUCKETS SELL FOR IN HERE. Tittle on hand. VIN# F7129622 The cowl tag info is as follows... 10D = The car was built the fourth week of October, so it was built late in '66 67-68367 = It is a '67 Coupe Deville convertible FWD = Is on every tag, believed to be for Fleetwood even though these are Fisher bodied cars 2448 = The 2,448th CDV built (18,200 CDV total) TR 351B = Trim is black leather, bucket seats 98-2 PAINT = Firemist Ember paint (98) with a black top (2) E = EZ Eye / Soft Ray tinted glass T = 4-way driver's power bucket seat adjuster K = A/C I = Assume it is a 1 and that denotes an AM/FM Stereo, only the second year a stereo was offered and that is what appears to be in the car Some info about the serial number on the door jam pictured, also known as the "maintenance tag"; First, they are usually gone because they are flexible and they tear off. The number on the engine block and the chassis should match this number. The number also tells you some things and helps to authenticate the car... F7129622 translates to an F-bodied car, 7 is for the year '67, and the last six digits, 129622, are the sequence when the car was built out of the total production for that year. I would guess the original buyer was in the market for an Eldorado level convertible, but the Eldorado did not come in a convertible in '67. Here's some original costs for the options I noticed on the car... Base price for CDV = $5,608Firemist Paint = $131.60Bucket Seats = $184.20Soft Ray glass = $50.55AM/FM Stereo = $287.90Seat Adjuster = $52.65Total Price = $6,314.90 (a house cost about $13K-$16K in '67) This is a very heavily optioned CDV. SOLD AS IS NO RETURNS, NO REFUNDS, YOU WILL NEED TO PICKUP THE CAR AT YOUR OWN COST. I CAN ARRANGE A CARRIER TO PICK UP THE CAR FOR YOU AT YOUR OWN COST.
