1948 Lincoln Continental V-12 Coupe NEW: Paint...a beautiful and excellent job in the original color. Only one very small touch up from the hood...the rest is perfect. NEW: Complete Interior done to original patterns in original matching cloth. Excellent job! Trunk also re-done. NEW: Tires, Complete Brakes, 6volt Battery and Hydraulic Windows completely rebuilt (over $1K alone). Motor and 3 speed/Overdrive Rebuilt a few years ago and are in perfect working order. Starts right up/Runs and Drives great, all windows work, all gauges work, Radio plays, Heater heats. To explain how good & original this car was before restoring; ALL the chrome is ORIGINAL and only has some pin-prick spots that it did not warrant a $10,000 rechrome job (thats what it cost now for one of these). Its hard to believe that the chrome survived, as it is bad on 95% of un-restored Lincolns unless they spent their life inside. This Continental is a joy to drive as it has plenty of V-12 power yet its quiet and "floats" along due to its weight and suspension. Its always amazed me that they are "underpriced" for such a quality car and they cost more to restore than your typical Ford product?
