This beautiful 1956 Dodge Custom Sierra Station Wagon was bought and owned for its entire life in the dry weather of the Eastern Washington Walla Walla Valley. You can now own a real piece of art deco era 50's Americana with this BEAUTIFUL example of a classic 50's. What a value it is at the reserve price which is set very low !STRONG - ORIGINAL 315 CID SUPER RED RAM V8 motor in it and running very well. The engine was rebuilt about 6,000 miles ago. The tappets do clatter a little. Really sounds good too with the "throaty" sounding custom dual exhaust system. The engine is backed by the - DODGE MAGIC TOUCH CONTROL - factory Push Button – POWERFLIGHT transmission. When restored it was painted to the beautiful original 3 tone colors with the oriental coral on the bottom, steel gray in the middle and Sapphire white top. There are some small chips and imperfections showing but its bright, shiny and NICE as you can see in the picture above. The chrome is not perfect either but it’s all there. Since its restoration it has been garaged and covered except when taken to a car show, wedding or a cruise. The body is very solid and all the tinted glass is in good condition but as you can see in one picture, the left rear vent window mount is broken but the glass is good. The Dodge has the original factory dual chrome fender mounted exterior mirrors. The interior has been restored to original like door panels, seat covers and carpet.. It has the ORIGINAL dash and NICE ORIGINAL gauge cluster's. The steering wheel is original but the horn ring is missing. It has a good heater and defroster and the original AM radio which is not working. GREAT looks and AWESOME power as well ! There are not many of these left on the roads for sure ! These vehicles have an appreciative group of owners any of which would be pleased to own this one. The electrical system seems to be in good condition including headlights, taillights and turn signals. The car also sports factory stainless steel Dodge wheel covers that are in great shape and check out the whitewall radial tires, boy does this combination look OUTSTANDING and really retain the original look on this classic 50's art deco era car !!
