This truck was an ebay purchase a year and a half ago, I drove it from Texas to South Carolina. The guy had warned me it was rough, but at the time I didn't understand quite how rough it was. The body has several large dents and some hail damage to the hood. The drivers seat has a tear which is pretty standard in a truck of this age. The steering pump needs replaced, it drives ok but turns hard at idle. The steering is loose and will need new tie rods, one is bent. The cruise control doesn't work, along with the power locks. The first time you start it after its been sitting it starts pretty hard and smokes a little at idle, I suspect this just needs new injector orings, but it could need a set of injectors. The front axle needs bearings and seals. It grinds going into first unless you press the clutch all the way to the floor. I have heard of these issus being related to the plastic bushings in the clutch linkage that goes through the fire wall, they have 3rd party aftermarket kits to upgrade this to a steel ball joint here on ebay. The exhaust had been removed and ends at the back of the cab. Tires are in good condition, it does have a gooseneck hitch and a ranch hand rear bumper. This would make an all around good work truck. Sorry for the pretty lengthy and random description, but I want to make sure everyone is clear on what they are getting. I wouldn't recommend someone driving this on a long trip so pick up with a trailer would be the best option, although I drove it 28 hours. Thanks for looking.
