We purchased this to use for family camping (3 and 5 year old) but our needs and priorities have changed so it has to go. The previous owner had it for 10 years or so and liked doing off roading and provided tons of receipts of work done, extras added, places visited etc. Here are the details; Chevy 350 TBI with Howell harness in engine compartment Painless wiring harness in car New aluminum radiator with HD fan Power brakes Power steering 4 speed granny low manual transmission Dana 300 with LoMax 4:1 and upgraded output spline and twin stick operation Rear ARB locker (plus blue hose for filling tires with air) Front locker (brand unknown - think it's Aussie??) Spring over axle conversion Rear full corner black diamond plate protection YJ fenders, hood (with scoops) and grille Warn 6000lb winch Front and rear diff protectors Steering box brace to frame Half soft doors and full hard doors Jeep 1981 CJ8 Scrambler is the extended version of a Jeep CJ7 Garaged for last 10 years Custom full length roll bar with unique laminate top (sun protection) 2nd row of seats with belts Boxes of spares inc seals, filters, tie rods, drive shafts, axle parts, lights, shackles, hangers and hard top (been told it's an extended YJ top that needs a spacer between the tub and it) Tuffy center locking console I ripped out the carpet to look for rust by driver and passeger seat but there was none..so I was happy. (therefore some carpet is missing!) It seems to be a very capable vehicle, having done the Rubicon, Dyce and other runs. Many of the papers relating to the previous owners trips are in a box given to me. (He moved overseas with his family and so I got 'everything' in his garage vaguely related!!) There are a few things that need doing; add a wiper fluid bottle and a radiator overflow bottle. Horn needs wiring i think. Nothing major/structural from what i can tell. ANY and all questions answered quickly need any pics or other details let us know Hopefully that describes it well enough. It is sold as seen, no warranty implied or offered.
