Vehicle Detail
1974 Triumph T140 V OIF set up as a Cafe Style Racer With ALL matching numbers. The bike does start and run Rides good. This bike leaks a little bit of oil and burns a little bit of oil. Just like any british car or motorcycle... It is a five speed gear box, however, fifth gear needs to be indexed... very simple procedure, I've been to busy on an FJ40 project to get into the bike again. It runs and drives fine with all the other gears, I've just been driving it as a 4 speed around town. Works perfectly fine as a 4 speed Almost new tyres (cheng shin front) & (Dunlop rear) Tank was painted about a year ago, not the best paint job but not too bad. Some dings and dents and imperfections. Front Hydraulic disc with mechanical rear drum all in working condition. Dual OEM Amal Carbs The pegs are recessed back for a true 'Cafe' position. Seat was just redone with new foam and seat cover, original seat deck with original OEM Specs Sticker. Updated rectifier, OEM Lucas Coils with Lucas/Champion Plug Wires, NGK Plugs I'm selling this bike because I am elbow deep in a Land Cruiser project and the Triumph was fun while it lasted but I don't want to see it sit around in my garage not getting any TLC. She will usually start the second kick. Runs and rides good but could use some tweaking. The bike still needs some cheap work, ie the forks could use a rebuild, has no speedo/tach, some life left on the clutch, Brake light switch for the foot brake. Engine could use a good polishing. New Clutch
