2001 Subaru Forester Awd Up for bids is 2001 Subaru Forester S Awd Wagon NO RESERVE This Subaru has an awsome stereo installed as well. 174,447 miles Vehicle is a 2.5 4 cyl. automatic transmission (very fuel efficient) Has the Awd (4x4) which handles very well in the rain and snow. Just had new tires put on less than a year ago at Tire Discounters. The tires have been rotated every 5000 miles as needed and recorded for further rotations which are free as long as they are done at the 5000 mark. I purchased this Subaru in Nov. 2007 with 84,500 miles and used it mainly for work to save on gas. It has been a very dependable, reliable vehicle for me, starts up every time. Ive kept all regular maintenance up on it and it runs great and handles very good. Oil changes are up to date and have been changed every 3000 miles New rotors and brake pads have been installed on front and back within the past year New air filter New exhaust gasket replace this summer Wiper blades are in good condition This Subaru is equipped with: Rear defoggers Power heated mirrors (nice in the winter) Heated seats (also nice in the winter) Power windows Power locks Power steering Cold A/C Warm heat Luggage rack Hatchback with pull out cover ( i like it for covering the subwoofer) hatchback also has a power outlet for more convenience storage compartment on each door, dash, center console, under dash, glove box, and in the hatchback on sides Has spare tire with all necessary tools to change a tire in emergency Comes with original owners manual 2 sets of keys with original transmitters Big Stereo If I was gonna be driving alot I have to have a nice stereo. This stereo was professionaly installed and has: Pioneer deck (single cd) Xm ready, usb port, with remote control Pioneer reference speakers installed in all 4 doors Alpine amplifier installed under drivers seat and a THUNDEROUS Kenwood subwoofer in the hatchback (can easily be taken out if the room is needed for moving things) So with an awsome stereo like that you have to have a good security so I had a Viper security system installed as well. There is a security light mounted on the dash that will flash when engaged. Has 2 keyless transmitters. I have original box as well. The stereo and security system alone cost $2000.00 installed The front end was a hit and run which is why it hasnt been repared. All lights are fully functional on the vehicle including the passenger turn signal Needs a right passenger side fender (on ebay $112.99 item # 130572642475) Needs corner turn signal right side (on ebay $38.77 item # 260818199095) (Headlight right side is $83.76 on ebay as well item # 280709530230) Im sure these parts can be found used as well its just a matter of locating them Windshield does have a crack through it The hood has a kink on the corner by passenger headlight There is a small rust spot above rear passenger wheel well There are some scratches on the bumpers and some on the body as well Subarus are known to run well over 200,000 miles if taken care of. I dont want the expense of maintaning 3 vehicles anymore so the one with the most miles is the one going. Hate to depart with the stereo but its to much work taking everything out. This would be a good beginer car for the new driver or for a work vehicle to save on gas.
