I am selling my 1972 mercedes 300sel 4.5 this is one of 785 vehicles out of 2533 that came with the 230hp Efi 4.5 v8 engine all original powertrain with all matching #s I am the second owner. Car has been in storage most of its life but still driven on occasional weekends it's a original california vehicle has factory A/C that works great (blows ice cold) the motor run xlnt just like it came off the show room floor, trans works great there are NO oil leaks services always performed by vet mercedes tech who know these vehicles. heater control assembly (ie levers) have been replaced w/ factory orignal, front and rear window seals have been replaced, trunk seal headliner have been repalced, brakes and brake lines have been replaced ,dash has typical cracks, new tires all electrical lights windows work as it should all the chrome is in original none rechrome state very good cond door mouldings are a little worn out but i have all the factory new moulding that go with it.The gold paint is a little faded the body is 99% rust free the only rust is where the spare tire drain hole is, i have took a close up picture of that rust spot it is the only rust on this vehicle. This vehicle is ready to be driven cross country.
