Relisting item because winning bidder never responded and never contacted me to complete sale. 1972 BMW CSi 5 speed in Silver with Tan leather interior. When I purchased the car just over 3 years ago it was given a fresh coat of paint and new carpeting. From what I learned from the seller, the car was owned by a San Francisco firefighter for 20+ years and garage kept. The firefighter had passed away and his wife let it sit for a couple of years before deciding to sell. The seller went to pick up the car and after sitting for two years it started right up. This coupe is in great shape and has been garage kept. I have been driving it several times a week since I purchased the car. It will be difficult to sell but looking to get next project. The car has Alpina wheels, steering wheel and shift knob. All power windows work except switch for passenger back window which just needs to replaced. I have put a new Pioneer stereo system in with CD, ipod connection and hands free talk capability. All was tastefully done not to mess with original look. Current mileage on odometer is roughly 36,000 miles but I'm unsure if that is correct. All lights, headlights, and signals are working. Latch handle for hood works but needs repair.
