1999 Honda Civic HX Coupe ~ 42-48 MPG ~ Up for auction is a Milano Red Honda Civic HX VTEC-E Coupe with the optional CVT and A/C (both very rare). The VTEC-E engine gives you plenty of power, however still gets dominant gas mileage (42-48 MPG). Just think, gas mileage comparable to any of the new hybrids on the market, however you will never have to worry about replacing an expensive battery pack! I wouldn't hesitate to hop in this car and drive it cross country as it needs nothing. I think just about everything has been gone through by a mechanic on this car in the past couple years. Parts even considered "borderline" have been replaced with new ones. Here is what has been replaced in just the last 2 years: Front Brakes, Rotors, Calipers, Exhaust System w/Catalytic Converter, Upper Control Arms, o2 Sensor, Idle Air Control Valve, EGR Valve, and Full Tune-Ups along with Routine Fluid Changes. I even saved all the receipts to prove the work has been completed. The car is very clean (in and out). That includes the engine compartment too! The interior is VERY clean and well maintained. It has a bunch of nice options in there (A/C, Power Windows, Power Door Locks, CD Player, Etc.) The Ebay template says it has a Sunroof, but it does not. The outside of the car is also very clean. It even has the rare Factory Civic HX wheels specially made by Enkei for Honda. They are super lighweight to assist with maximum gas mileage! The front end even has a factory Honda embroidered Nose Mask! The body is rust free and the Milano Red paint even has a great shine to it! It is an 11 year old car, so it has it's bumps and bruises with the worst imperfection being a small dent on the front fender. Some signs of touch-up, but nothing major at all.
