Vehicle Detail
Here is your chance to own a great daily driver, very dependable Cadillac that I purchased from the original owner about 3 years ago. This car is very solid with the exception of front lower fenders (the outer sheet metal is starting to rot). This is the only problem area on the whole vehicle. The car has only 46,000 original miles, runs and shifts smooth with very little interior noise. The black leather interior is in excellent condition. 4 brand new Coker polyglass double white wall tires, Brakes were done about a year ago with rebuilt master cylinder. As well as new tail pipe and Delco Battery. The car comes with a new resonator and a Cobra CB with whip antenna (original owner, Jim Curly was a truck driver) Equipped with AC, working power antenna, 6 way seat, tinted soft ray glass, & power windows. The Not working features are the clock and front speaker. The nose, drivers door & trunk have original paint, original padded vinyl roof, the quarters and passenger door have been repainted years ago, there is a small crease in the drivers side quarter panel, this was from Jim trying to back the car out of his very tight garage..Probably the case why the quarters were sprayed, I know it's not from rot. Remove the skirts and you'll see no rot I guarantee this. The hubcaps are pristine condition, I would rate the chrome a 7-8 Shipping responsibility will be up to the winner of this auction. I can offer local delivery for a small fee. A $500 deposit is required at the end of auction. Feel free to ask any questions or have an inspector come and see. You really have to drive this car to appreciate it. She's a head turner with a lot of fun. On Sep-16-11 at 10:36:51 PDT, seller added the following information: I've added some new pics of the under carriage and trunk area, I also found the front exhaust pipe to go with the new resonator. Like I said there is no rot on this car except the lower front fenders. This car needs a complete paint job to be in car shows, but since there is 65% the original paint on the car, you know what your getting (no hidden surprises) All the stainless is beautiful with no DA scratches from a previous body guy doing a botched job. This goes for all the original glass on the car. The windshield isn't faded to a brown shade on top from the sun bleaching it. The door jams are in great shape as well. I also have all the documents that Jim (original owner) Curlee kept. along with the GM Protecto- plate, Owners and Accessory Manuals for the 67' Caddy as well as a number of dated artifacts from the time era... Since this car is selling locally as well , I reserve the right to end this auction early or if someone should click on the Buy-it Now option. Good Luck in bidding and again, fell free to ask questions. Thx, Dwayne
