Vehicle Detail
This van is a great-running van that needs some attention. THE only reason why I am selling this van is that I am suffering from a major illness and I just can't drive it anymore. This van does not BURN, USE, or LOSE, any motor oil. The transmission is clean and shifts perfectly. There are still a LOT of trouble free miles left in this gem for you to enjoy. It is a fully loaded "LT" (Luxury Trim) van with a power drivers seat, over-head console with outside temperature and direction. This van has rear heat but not dual rear air-conditioning. This van hasn't always been treated to kindly by children. The kids have taken there toll on the inside but, the for the good news, there isn't any bad odors or smells on the inside. The van has some dents and dings on the outside but nothing that looks very bad. Please look at the pictures; it is what it is, it's an OK acceptable, affordable, and dependable basic day to day transportation. There is a couple of issues that will need to be addressed. The windshield has a crack and needs to be replaced. The tires need to be replaced soon. The left rear tire is the spare tire, the original tire and aluminum rim are inside. The flat tire can not be fixed and needs to be replaced. The front bakes will need to be replaced soon. The rear hatch latch sometimes catches and is a problem opening it. The power door locks recently stopped working, I think because they ALL worked just fine until recently, that it is a blown fuse or something like that. I just am not in a position to do any work on this at this time. And last, but not lest, the "check engine" light comes on and off. I had this diagnosed and it came back that an O2 (oxygen) sensor is bad and needs replaced. The part isn't too expensive and if you have any mechanical ability, fairly easy to replace. I have owned several Astro vans and they are one of Chevrolets best vehicles ever built! No ifs, ands, or buts! This is your chance to buy an inexpensive vehicle that will give you great service!
