This is a no reserve auction. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE I bought this car for my son about five years ago as a project to work on together. He wasn’t interested. I knew it had a bad headgasket so took it apart, had the head checked and resurfaced, put it back together and did something wrong. The car would no longer run: the gauges didn’t work and the electric fuel pump wouldn’t come on. Don’t know what I did. I hot wired the fuel pump and was able to drive it around but now the fuel pump doesn’t work anymore. I give up. Last running about a year ago. This is a simple 900 with eight valves, not sixteen. I removed the a/c which didn’t work anyway. The car is complete but for a trim piece on driverside front fender. Still has the Saab tool kit, spare and jack. Nice body- one spot of rust on the rear deck lid on the lower edge of the window. Paint is thin but the red polishes out nice. All doors, hood , hatch fit perfect. Don’t know if the auto heat seats work. Interior in fair condition, headliner has been removed. Tires hold air but very old. Crappy cassette deck radio that works. Old battery. This would be a nice car for someone who knows how to work on a car of this vintage- too modern for my mechanical skills. I have a repair manual and owner’s manual. Car is on a non-op California title. Please ask if you have any questions. I would not recommend this car for registration in California. It never seems easy to get these older cars to pass smog tests here.
