1988 Honda NX650 Purchased from the estate of the original owner. This NX is in pristine condition with very few flaws. Bike has a new K&N Air Filter, new Honda ignition coil, new Honda CDI Unit, new Honda petcock and fuel line. I changed the oil(Mobil1), oil filter(Fram) and spark plug(NGK). Carb has been cleaned and had the “Daves” jetting modifications. The bike runs better than new with those upgrades This NX is very rare, you will not find one with lower mileage for sale. It is also a California model which adds to the rarity of the bike. So you NX aficionados and collectors, this is your opportunity to own a nearly new 1988 NX650. The few flaws are pictured. Nicks on the fairing from someone tying it down improperly and a small nick on the front fender. A couple small blemishes and one small crack on the fairing.That is all I have found. Seriously, a skilled detail man could have this NX back on the showroom floor. I got no manuals with this machine but will include a printed pdf service manual. I have 2 original Honda keys, the tool kit and clear Indiana title. Honda imported this bike for only 2 years into the US. Parts and accessories not available in the US are easy to obtain from Europe or Australia where the NX was sold for many years as the Dominator. Also want to disclose a few things. A a couple fairing mount tabs broke upon disassembly and JBWeld was used to fix it mounts. Nothing cosmetic but it’s under the fairing. I have one fork leg reflector not shown. I don’t think the mirrors are original but they look good. The turn signals are exact replicas of the originals, which are no longer available thru Honda. Mileage today(9/11) is 1,403. I am riding this until it sells,,, it’s really a blast to ride but I have to let it go. I need a $100 non-refundable deposit within 24 hours of sale, PayPal is accepted.
