Vehicle Detail

This 1986 International Harvester chipper truck has low mileage (46,777), new head gasket, valves and guides. It is a rare truck in that it is a FOUR WHEEL DRIVE that never gets stuck and can pull any of your vehicles from the deepest muck. In the years that I have owned it it has NEVER failed to start and is incredibly reliable. The interior driver's seat has a sizable tear but all in all is comfortable to drive. Pintle Hook and 2 inch receiver are both included. It has a 5-speed manual transmission, 9 liter engine and takes diesel fuel. Any questions, feel free to call me at 937-274-7895 (Ted). On Sep-12-11 at 21:39:48 PDT, seller added the following information: Sorry for the delay. I am selling the truck for my next door neighbor and I had to get with him for the info. I have had several questions concerning this truck so I will include (hopefully) all of them in this response. I have over 1000 transactions on Ebay but this is my first vehicle and I clearly left out a lot of information. Please feel free to send further questions. 1.) The engine is a 9 liter. 2.) The truck does have airbrakes. 3.) The gross vehicle weight is 26,500 lbs. 4.) The four wheel drive is NOT fulltime and is controlled by a transfer case. 5.) The truck does NOT have A/C. 6.) The engine is NOT a turbo. 7.) 3 of the 5 tool compartments have working exterior locks--the other two can be locked by dropping a rod in a slot with the bed raised. 8.) The front cab doors have working locks but the driver's side is finicky and often has to be opened by going in the passenger side and opening the inside handle--my neighbor thinks this is an easy fix. The rear passenger cab has a padlock instead of a standard key opening. 9.) The truck has new head gaskets including milled heads, new valves, new valve guides, new water pump and a rebuilt starter. 10.) The tires are NOT in very good shape with only the front right tire being fairly new. 11.) There are no leaking fluids. 12.) I will try to get some interior pictures posted very soon.
