Vehicle Detail
This is a 1966 Mustang Coupe with a 6cyl Automatic trans with A/C project car. We purchased it last year to restore but we have too many projects in the shop at this time so some of them have to go. It is a very good starting point for a project. The car has rust in all the normal places but all panels seem to be usable. We are a restoration shop ( www.scottscustomsandrestoration.com ) and the car is here, so i can answer any questions you may have pretty fast during business hours (8-5 M-F). The car goes to the higgest bidder, No reserve. Please consider this car has been sitting up over 5 years but was in a garage. I have not heard it run nor have i tried to start it. The previous owner drained all the fluids, removed the Valve cover, oil pan and trans pan and cleaned them. Then he put them back on. This car will make a good deal for someone to build but please note: I know nothing about the condition of the driveline except the engine turn over freely with the starter. Thats all! There are some new parts included such as exhaust system, 2 brake drums and a box of misc items. Feel free to Email or call me with any questions you have. Thanks for your interest and good luck. This form is where we had a law enforcement officer run the VIN through NCIS and GCIC stolen vehicle files to establish the status of this vehicle. Georgia does not require a title for vehicles older than 1985 nor will they issue one with a broken title chain. They will not do title searches any more and have adopted a "title for title" policy. Many people chose not to pay the title fee because it wasnt required for a tag due to the age of the car, so they got the tag and since a bill of sale is all thats required to show ownership the title chain was broken hence no title will be issued in Ga. This whole concept has caused heartburn in our classic car market but it is what this state has established. Sorry if this poses a problem.
