Vehicle Detail
READ THE ENTIRE AD BEFORE YOU BID! This is a really great car. It belonged to a friend of mine for several years and it was his pride and joy. It was his daily driver and I drove it a fair amount (whenever he'd let me), and I rode passenger a lot more often then that. Then the reverse went out in the transmission (it has a 904 Chrysler three speed automatic with a lock up torque converter). My friend bought a used 904 from the junkyard, but he never got the money/time together to have it put in, the junkyard transmission is in the trunk of the car. My friend let the car sit for a couple years. He then got into some money trouble and had to sell the car, I bought it fully planning to install the tranny myself, I even drove it around a bit with no reverse. Then, life happened: I started a business and got crazy busy, I took various trips around the world, had a baby daughter, a divorce, and three years have passed. And now the car (a car I would have given my right arm for when I was a younger man) is now sitting in my sisters back yard. Not doing anybody any good. So now I want to sell it to someone who will appreciate it (someone with youth and energy, or at least the money to pay to get it going), before it dries up and turns to dust like the rest of my life. The car: V.I.N. : WH23G3A103583 1973 Dodge Charger SE 318 Two Barrel Bucket seats (all the seats front and back were recently reupholstered in black cloth, and new matching carpet was installed) Factory floor shift (missing the shifter nob) Dual exhaust (4) Period mag wheels (see photos) This car ran AWESOME last time it was driven (but that was a few years back, it will need some work to get it going) Clear NM title in my name Disc brakes up front, 8 1/4 rear axle in the back All glass and door handles etc are in good working order This car is NOT a rust bucket, all the floors seem pretty solid, and the quarters look pretty damn good. New gas tank, carburetor, fuel lines and distributor. This car is sold AS IS, WHERE IS (Albuquerque NM, in the south valley), if you want a new car that drives like a new car GO TO THE DEALERSHIP, if you want a vintage muscle car that only needs a little work to be roadworthy: here it is. You'll need to come and trailer it out. Or at least pull it out backwards and then put gas and a battery and some time into it to get it going. DO NOT BOTHER OFFERING ME LESS THEN $1000! It's worth that as a parts car. The blue book as a non-running parts car is almost double that. I DO NOT ACCEPT PAYYPALL! THE ONLY WAY I WILL ACCEPT PAYMENT IS WITH EITHER A U.S. PPOSTALL MONNEYY ORRDER (MIS-SPELLINGS FOR OBVIOUS EBAY RULES RELATED REASONS) SENT WITHIN 48 BUSINESS HOURS OF AUCTION END, OR GOOD-OLD-COLD-HARD-AMERICAN-CASH-MONEY WHEN YOU PICK UP THE CAR. I WILL NOT LOSE THIS AWESOME MACHINE TO SOME SCAMMER WHO WITHDRAWS PAYMENT AFTER THE CAR IS PICKED UP. Thanks!
