1985 BMW 535i European model. This vehicle is very rare and difficult to find. Enthusiast owned, non-smoker. Desirable short bumpers which aren’t found on the American version. E28 body code. Most of you probably know what you are looking at if you’ve read this far. Polaris Silver exterior/ Black Leather interior. Manual transmission. This car also has a very rare glass moonroof. Car is in very good condition but is not perfect. It is what I would call a great ‘driver’ and not a concours quality vehicle. Body is very clean. I believe that the car has been repainted once in the original paint color. I have a binder full of receipts! Passenger side front fender was dented at one point, thus the need for paint. This 5 series has been meticulously maintained but needs a home that can drive it and care for it. I think that I am the third owner if I remember right. Engine runs very strong. Transmission works great. As with any vintage car, there are things that will need attention if you are as particular as I am. A/C doesn’t currently cool. Interior door panels are in great cond. Passenger side and rear seats are in good condition. Driver side seat is in average condition. I would love to keep this car but I already have one too many cars and this one needs a new home. I really hate to part with it. The reserve price is the absolute lowest that I will take for the car. It is worth much more to me. The car is shown with two different sets of wheels. Car currently has recently painted black powdercoat BMW steel wheels installed. BBS wheels and tires (great cond.) shown can be purchased for an additional amount. Please add $500.00 to purchase price if interested. I’ve verified that this is an authentic Euro car. Headlights were converted to American version when it entered the country.
