The air conditiong blows ice cold but winter is coming fast so dont be left in the snow without 4 wheel drive. I love this SUV and my wife is mad at me for listing it. It is my daily driver and RUNS AND DRIVES PERFECT!!! I just drove it to Tampa, Florida and back to Buffalo, NY without a hitch a few days ago. Almost NO RUST 02 Ford Escape XLT 4x4 with 116K in great condition but not totally perfect (it has some scrathes and shopping cart dings). It was NYS inspected in May and it has all 6 new ignition coils, all u-joints, fuel filter, and alternator with 1 year warranty just put in 2 weeks ago. The engine runs great with no knocks, pings or misfires; the transmission and 4 wheel drive work perfect with no slips, grinds or noises. It does have needs like rear brakes, the "ABS" light is on as well but it passes inspection that way and the brakes work great. She also needs an antenna for the radio. The previous owner said it was torn of by a scorned lover. It has an mp3 output so I have just used that with my ipod. Another need is the bank 2 catalytic converter. It runs fine and my mechanic says it isnt hurting anything but its causing the check engine light to come on and it would get better gas mileage with a new one. The final problem is that the air bag light came on a week ago, I took it to the local dealership and they told me its just a sensor and its no big deal. If you dont mind the lights on it is a perfect vehicle for anyone. Texting me at 716-392-4928 is the best way to get answers or pics. I have listed all I know or can think of that is wrong with it, Im a straight shooter. The new alternator seems a little noisy but is brand new and has a 1 year warranty from Advanced Autoparts if you did have a problem or if you just wanna change it. The interior is not in new condition, its not bad but its not perfect, its respectable. 1-10 I would say the interior is a 6, the exterior I would say is a 7, drives down the road 10, runs 8 (needs that #2 cat), 4x4 and transmission 10
