Up for auction is a used 1988 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo Four Wheel Drive. Car has low miles for the year, currently at a little over 162,000. Vehicle is in good running condition. This was a family members daily driven vehicle and was used for snowboarding and skiing trips during the winter. He is now in college and commutes back and fourth to school and work so I gave him my civic so he could save on gas. The Jeep has low miles for the year and is a good running vehicle. Interior is very clean, the seats are all in good condition. The carpet was removed as this was used for a snowboarding and kayaking vehicle. So clean up is much easier. All electronics work, the Jeep has a new Sony CD/MP3 player with a new set of sony speakers. Car starts up and runs fine. The emissions light is on which it has been for a while. AWD seems to work well and this car does great in the winter time. We recently spent about $1,800 on various suspension components, mainly the transfer case and the AWD system. Car has an inline 6 and does not leak or burn a drop of oil. Brakes seem good, I took the car for a couple trips around the block and everything checks out ok. This was daily driven up until about a month ago when he switched from this car to the civic. Body has no major dents or dings, vehicle is almost rust free, I took two pictures of the major rust spots. The civic he now drives is ten years newer and ironically has more rust. This is a nice car that is great in the winter. Car has received a recent tune up and suspension work. The only problem with the Jeep is that the key is permanently stuck in the ignition. Don't know why, my brother bought it like this and the entire time he drove the car it was like this. Un-aware of what would need to be done to remove it, also I don't believe that the horn works, unless I am doing something wrong. We are selling because we have too many vehicles and have no need. This was never my car but i have driven it around the block and everything checks out car was driven daily up until very recently.
