Vehicle Detail
2005 Hummer H-2 Lux Edition I am selling my 2005 H-2 Hummer. I bought this at Hendrick Hummer in Cary, NC. If any of you know the name Rick Hendrick, as in Hendrick Racing (NASCAR, he has a stable of drivers, Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Mark Martin, Dale Earnhardt Jr. etc). I ordered my H-2 with a beautiful rich maroon with Ebony interior. I also ordered a ton of upgrades and extra special add-ons/options. I had all of which installed by the dealer. The dealer installed the Hendrick Racing dash cluster. This is an awesome dash, that replaces the boring factory dash pod and has a cool red glow and all needles and gauges have the red glow on Hendrick Racing logo back lit. I had driven Jeff Gordon's personal H-2 for a few weeks and I liked a lot of his add-on's and options, so I built my order to reflect alot of Jeff's H-2's options. I had ordered the carbon fiber GM steering wheel, just like Jeff's. This is one of the best options, because the steering wheel does not show any wear and tear on the leather, because the wear areas are carbon fiber, and the non wear ares are trimmed in the original GM leather trim. It still looks beautiful to this day! I also ordered the Pioneer HDD/DVD radio Z-1, and had monitors flushed mounted in the head rests for the passengers. The radio and DVD set up is really cool. Google it for radio details. I also have an independent DVD player in the console for just the back seat passengers, so you can actually watch two DVD's individually (front MOM and Dad/rear the kids). I also got a back up cam. I also had the dealer install Defenderworx chrome billet items all over!! I dropped 3K in just chrome upgrades!! I bought the interior AC vent chrome accent trim rings, power window covers, center console drink cover plate, chrome brush guard, chrome marker lights trim rings, rear tow rings, from chrome tow rings, upper side roof rack chrome caps, ABS chrome hood louvers, chrome roof parking light trim and the really expensive H-2 logo Chrome door handle buckets ($479.00 on sale!!). I later added the rear chrome hitch step. I also upgraded the mirrors to the 2007 H-2 mirrors so it looks like the new H-2's and the trim/chrome really pops. This cost me almost $600.00. I also had mirror base chrome trim added at $179 a pair too. in 2007 I also paid 2.8K for all new exterior GM dealer trim for the H-2. The H-2 trim is really prone to fading. So when I bought another H-2 from Hendrick (yes I own 2), I had the dealer supply a whole complete trim for the 05 H-2. It gets better, I did not install it until 2009. So the trim is if it is a 2009 Hummer! Now on the to actual Hummer vehicle details.....The H-2 has ONLY 51,463 miles on it. It has ALWAYS been properly maintained and consistent oil changes with only synthetic oil (mobil 1) at $80.00 an oil change. The H-2 drives flawlessly. Absolutley no issues with the drivetrain whatsoever. I have never had any service done on the vehicle on any of the drive train, ever! The main reason I am selling is I have about 9+ cars. I simply don't need it, especially since I do not have an Aupair anymore. The Hummer was used to get groceries, take kids to school and show some clients at my real estate company. I simply barely used it. I put less than 7K miles a year on it on average! The H-2 was detailed washed and waxed with only premium products. I also had seat covers on the seats until recently. Look really hard at the pictures. The interior is stunning. The leather is in OUTSTANDING condition. this H-2 just looks nearly new. What can I say? Now that I have pointed out all of the good, I want to be completely honest on every aspect of the vehicle. There are a couple of rock chips on the front (very common), there is a small chip in the hood chrome louvre, a very small ding in driver door that you wouldn't know was there unless I told you. Look at the pictures with the zoom option and see if you can even find it! Now here is the only thing that irritates me...I had the H-2 door buckets replaced because they were beginning to oxidize, so i found a set for $450 and had them installed. Well the jackass scratched the painted getting the windows out for the install. It isn't relly noticable unless you are looking for it. So if you have a detail guy who does dealer lot work, have him touch it up. I never got around to it. Now most folks put really nice tires and rims on these H-2's, so I assume you will pimp this out too, so i guess how much tread is on the factory tires is irrelevant! lol What else is there to say......The seat warmers are in all the seats, all seats are power (driver/passenger) all power ports work great. The H-2 has a really cool moon roof. I replace passeneger dear door panel when my son chip the plastic pocket. SO the door panel is new GM as of coouple years ago. That's about it. Let's face it, I am a man of means. I take care of all my cars as they should be. In fact I had an employee whose only job was to service my car collection for several years. I even stored my H-2 in my private warehouse when not in use. So, I guess I am saying your not getting some worn out H-2 from some wannabe who parked it outside and couldn't afford oil changes, and drove the crap out of it trying to be a baller......This is a well cared for H-2 that deserves a good home. There is NO Buy It Now, so you have to bid to win. The reserve is set at a low 20K. I won't give the H-2 away with only 50K miles and being so pampered. SO it will have to be for 20K or more...... Now for the legal stuff....ONLY SERIOUS bidders. If you have bad feedback, don't bid, I will cancel your bid. An immediate non-refundable deposit of $1,000 is due at the end of the auction , NO EXCEPTION. The balance due within 3 days, NO EXCEPTION. It may be easier to just pay all at once immediately, but I will leave that up to the buyer. Those who do not comply will be reported to ebay. This is not a game. I am nice guy, and I like dealing with responsible ebayers! :) Good Luck and happy bidding!! Lastly I want to mention that I have been an eBay member for nearly a decade. That is a long time. I just about completed the selling of my life long collection of cars. Some were trailer queens, others were parts cars, and other rolling rust buckets, but really rare. Now I went to great trouble to max out my quota of pictures on each listing and describe the car thoroughly. Still I manage to get a couple of knuckleheads who for some reason (twice it was a language barrier Spanish vs English) just to understand what a bill of sale is on a parts car or that for 6K they think they are getting a 50K restored trailer queen. It is frustrating for me because I had a perfect feedback. The new eBay rules make it hard to fight unfair feedback. So if I get a retarded buyer, he can pretty much do what he wants and there is little I can do about it. SO please keep that in mind when reviewing my feedback. I hate it, but unfortunately, there’s nothing I can do about it. So look carefully at my pictures. I bought the zoom option so you can look real good at how nice the car is. Bid with confidence that she is a really sweet car that was described in great detail.
