1978 CB400 Hondamatic Motorcycle This is a 1978 Hondamatic CB400 that runs and looks great. The bike has two gears: first and second; you just put it in gear and go, and there is no clutch involved. With only 8,810 miles, this bike has a lot of life in it. The bike has new tires, battery, front brake pads, fork seals, and many other parts. The carburetors have been rebuilt and cleaned. The electric stator has been rebuilt. The fuel tank has been coated on the inside with KLEEN, which is a three-stage process to insure no rust in the tank. The outside of the tank and the side covers were painted with a black paint that has silver flecks in it, then professionally clear coated. There are no tears in the seat. I even have the original owner's manual and tool pack for under the seat. I believe it might need valve seals, but I don’t know for sure. (I called a Honda dealer, and I was told that, if you take the head in to redo the valves, it would cost about $100.00.) I have the title in hand.
