This is a recent impulse purchase of mine. I planned on using it around town to cruse garage sales, etc. Two days after buying it, I bought my nieces 2002 Harley to help her out and now I have a "extra" bike. I purchased this Honda from a local minister who is in his mid 50's so bike has been very well cared for. He rode it the last few years almost daily. Starts easy and runs great. The title is free and has been signed by him and ready to send to you. It is a 1978 Honda Hondamatic Hawk CB400A. As you know, this was the first attempt to market a automatic transmission. Not the fastest bike but sure gets great gas mileage. As far as I can let, it all looks original but I am not real familiar with older bikes. The ONLY thing I know which does not work it the speedometer....the cable is broken. There is some tarnish of the chrome here and there and the right muffler has a small area of rust. The left side of the gas tank has some light scuffs on it (see picture). Engine runs quiet and very smooth. Tires look OK. I included pictures under the seat and as you can see, even the underseat area is very clean with little to no rust. Just a GREAT bike waiting for a new home.
