1983 Honda Nighthawk

For sale is a neat low-budget priced 1983 Honda CB650 Nighthawk. The nice thing about these CB650 Nighthawks verses the traditional CB650 Custom is they're shaft drive, have hydraulic lifters, dual disc brakes up front & they're 6-speed transmissions. This particular bike looks pretty good, has no real rust and starts & runs well. I can't say it's perfect but I can say it's way better than average. I've added a new Saddleman seat. It has a decent pair of Dunlop tires and the factory exhaust is in relatively good condition--that alone is often hard to find. It doesn't leak or smoke and other than the turn signals & horn not working it's a pretty decent bike (the headlight & brake light work OK). The inside of the tank looks very clean. I had our local Honda technician clean & adjust the carburetors and set them to specs. It starts easy and runs well. There are no negative brake issues either--both front & rear brakes work just fine. *I'm sorry I can't guarantee the miles are accurate as the odometer quit working, it does record the speed just not the miles. Interestingly enough, the title does NOT show the miles to be inaccurate. I think it was working when I bought the bike but now the odometer does not work, oh well, it's a low priced bike. *This would make a great commuter bike to work or college!
