I am listing this vehicle for a dear friend of my family. 1967 Chevrolet El Camino S/S 396 Big Block V8 Turbo Jet. Black on Black original factory custom interior with Strato-Bucket seats. Factory air and automatic transmission. This desirable El Camino is a California car which the current owner purchased 9 years ago in California and now resides in Aiken, South Carolina. Less than 81,000 miles on original motor. Has Boyd Coddington 5 spoke rims. Custom carpet bed liner. Battery disconnect switch. Garage kept and adult driven. Original specs show that this was the largest engine and most horsepower available in a '67 El Camino. 350 hp @ 5200 rpm, with 415 ft-lbs of gross torque @ 3400 rpm. The VIN number is 136807Z121648 On the front right corner of the engine block is stamped 8 characters which match the last 8 characters in the VIN number, they are: 7Z121648 On the passenger side of the transmission is an aluminum plate that is riveted to the transmission that says Turbo Hydramatic and there are 6 characters on it that match 6 characters found on the metal service stamping plate found in the glove compartment. The rear end is 12 bolt.
