I WOULDN'T HESITATE TO GET IN IT, AND DRIVE IT COAST TO COAST....AND WOULDN'T EVEN CHECK THE OIL! OK, I would, just because I check the oil in everything I drive. I encourage you to come drive it and check it out before you buy. The only reason it's for sale, it was replaced by a like new, cream-puff, grand-paw driven 2001! Otherwise, it would still be hummin down the highway. Was going to keep it, but it just doesn't get used much. This truck has almost all highway miles. Serviced every 5,000 miles with FLEETGUARD (Cummins OE) filters and Shell Rotella T 15w40 oil. PAPER AIR FILTERS ALL IT'S LIFE! NOT A HINT OF BLOW-BY. NO OIL ADDS BETWEEN OIL CHANGES! STILL GETS 20 HIGHWAY MPG!!! LEGENDARY 12 VALVE PERFORMANCE!!!!! Just a few of the items replaced in the past couple of years: Transmission rebuilt, rotors, brakes, track bar, ball joints, shocks (Rancho 5000), dash cap, lift pump, water pump, power steering pump. Late model, chrome rims (17"), Tires 40%. FUEL GAUGE DOES NOT WORK! Hasn't worked since '98. Just reset miles and fill-up every 500-600 miles. Southern truck, all its life. We bought in Little Rock, AR (Little Rock Dodge) when it was 1 year old/38,000 miles. Been in Southwest TN the remainder of it's life. No plowing, no salted roads all winter. Even the rock pecks on the wheel wells only have surface rust. NO BODY CANCER LIKE THE NOTHERN TRUCKS! Paint is weak in the normal places, for this vehicle (see pics). This will make someone and excellent work truck, with many more years of life. OR, put a paint job on it, and have a sharp daily driver! Locking differential, 3.54 gears, long wheel base, club (extended) cab. A/C, electric windows/door locks, AM/FM CD/Cassette, tilt, cruise, vinyl floor mat over stock carpeting, drivers seat a little weak (see pics), NO GOOSE NECK OR 5TH WHEEL EVER!, Dodge bed liner, side steps, bug shield, front vent visors, trailer brake controller. Engine tuned in 1997 by local certified Cummins factory tech. Not too wild. 215 injectors, a few pump mods and some more turbo boost. RUNS, PULLS GREAT! Stock exhaust with straight-through muffler (not too loud). Previous owner had removed the "resonator" :-) in front of the muffler. $500.00 deposit due in 24 hours.
