1977 Honda XL 125

I have a 1977 Honda XL 125 that I bought off the original owner about 3 months ago. The original owner told me, him & his brother each bought one back in the day, and soon as they got them home, they took off the endoro tires & put on the knobbies tires that you see on the bike. Well, he kept the original tires & they're still in great shape with no cracking, these also go with the sale. Also, he took off the lights both front and back, these lights are in excellant shape because they were never used. I mounted the front ones, but didn't hook them up. I never installed the rear lights but have them & they do go with this sale. This bike was strickly used off road, and it only has 1570 miles on it. When I got the bike it was a mess from siting in a shed for many years & it hadn't been run in many years. I cleaned it all up, I painted the frame, I put a new throttle cable & clutch cable. I put on a new carberator, the old one was too far gone to salvage, I also put in a new battery. The battery doesn't seem to be too good, even though it's new. But the bike still runs with this battery. The only thing I can think that is broken is the Hi-Lo switch for the headlights. I havn't tried to get any of the lights to work, not even the indicator lights, I think this has to do with this battery. I had to put on my own choke, I had to order a carberator from a different year XL 125...Nobody had one for a 1977 , I looked all over the internet. The seat has about a 1-2 inch rip that I tried to show, the rims have small rust spots in some places, that I tried to show, the gas tank has very small dings that can been seen at certain angles. I will take more pictures by request. This bike runs really well, it's not a rocket, but it moves right along. This bike isn't perfect, but it's really nice, people love it when I take it to the store, it draws a crowd. I bought this with no paper work at all, after all, the original owner never registered it, just rode it off road. I can provided a bill of sale only. Every state is different on their rules. I also have this bike for sale locally, so i reserve the right to end this auction early.....However, I would like it to run it's course on Ebay.
