It is not your standard 4 cylinder car. An aweful lot of time and money was spent on making this vehicle into what it is. We acquired the car from a 70 year old man who has had it since the 1980's and has done all of the modifications himself in his garage hour after hour, dollar after dollar. The engine is a Chevrolet 327 which he built from the block up. It has an Edelbrock intake and 4 barrel carburator with a mild cam. It has been built right from the ground up. The transmission is a Turbo 350 paired with a stall converter and 9 inch Ford rear. This car is down right fast. The body in this car is pretty descent. These things are known for rotting out but, this one isn't. There is a few very minor spots where the paint has started to bubble but, I must emphisise the word minor. The paint is nice as are the wheels and tires. The passenger side headlight goes up but, it needs to be put down manually. The interior has minor wear but, is very nice overall. Honestly, this is one of the nicer Triumphs that I have ever seen. The air conditioning was removed from the car when the engine swap was done. The duct work is there and it could be reinstalled. The dash is in nice shape and it is a non smoker car. The radio turns on but, it does not make noise. Might very well be something unhooked. It is not all original with the engine and other performance modifications but, this is by far one of this nicest TR7's out there. To the very best our knowledge, the mileage is true and acurate.
