Here is a candy ruby red 4-speed Honda CT70H. Original and unrestored. In my opinion, this is one of the coolest CT70's going, both because of the color and the 4-speed clutch, which was only available for a couple of years. I am the second owner, and have a clean and clear Indiana title in my name. This bike is a perfect restoration candidate or just enjoy as is. The only modification to this bike is a plastic CT70 tank that I put in to replace the original steel one to avoid any chance of rust being a problem. What I have done is clean the carburetor, changed the oil, adjusted points and valve clearance and put in a new spark plug. It starts up on the first or second kick and rides fine. It needs a brief warmup with the choke on, the carb probably needs some adjustment. I always try to describe everything as thoroughly as possible but please remember this bike is almost 40 years old. It is in great condition for the age, as it was always stored indoors. It runs and rides fine and shifts through all 4 gears and stops as it should. It will make a maximum speed of 40 mph with me on it, I weigh about 170 lbs. Horn works. The headlight and taillight are burned out, but the taillight did work until recently. The handlebars fold down as they should and are not frozen. The seat pan is not cracked and only has surface rust. The seat cover has a couple of rips in it. The chrome has some light surface rust on it, most of this will clean up with some elbow grease and steel wool. Please take a close look at the photos, they tell the story.
