M5 ---Only serious M5 lovers read-on and bimmer enthusiasts--- This vehicle ‘commands’ attention with a ‘roaring’ 4.9L V8, making 394 hp and a 6 speed manual transmission. Additional features include a CD changer (needs attention), power tilt/sliding moon roof, heated front seats (driver side needs to be looked at), electronic stability/traction control. ‘She’ has been a great ride but now it is time I get an SUV living in a wild-wintery climate. She purrs when you drive her like you stole it! 182,000 miles (some pixels show up sometimes). She needs a little TLC from the right owner with improved front bumper ($500) and tweaked navigation ($1000). The asking price reflects these modifications needed. 2001 was a banner year with many upgrades including: Revised headlight design incorporating illuminated "Angel Eyes" (incandescent glass rings surrounding the headlights) Improved solar sensor for standard automatic climate control Revised navigation/audio unit with larger (6.5-inch) monitor (Standard on US Spec 2001-2003) Rear head protection airbags added Second-generation M Mobility tire repair system in place of earlier version M Audio System with special tweeters, Kevlar/carbon coaxial speakers and two subwoofers behind the rear console Alcantara headliner included with Extended Leather interior (previously only included with Complete Leather) The overall condition of this vehicle is good/poor. Needs TLC. The sassy blue exterior is in excellent condition except for the front bumper that could easily be replaced. Interior- The black leather interior is in good condition with no rips, stains or odors present. Some electrical components are not working properly, like the navigation and some pixels missing. All windows, sunroof, heated seats etc are perfect (except for the driver heated seat). Air conditioning blows ice cold. Under the hood- New cam-shafts and crank-shafts in last 3 years, new rear tires, and front ones should be replaced soon. The rims are nice on the M5 but could use touch-ups or replaced. This car needs attention to details to be perfect such as: 2 fronts have good tread but the outside edges are dryrotting. 2 front cupholders are broken. This vehicle will come with the original owners' manuals, factory floor mats and one key. I personally drive this car and it runs great. Shifts well runs smooth and has plenty of power!!
