Vehicle Detail

Relisted due to non-payer bidder: sandersonsid.....No email, no contact, no nothing besides me being out $60 worth of listing fees!!!!! If you are going to bid and then not make any contact DO NOT BID!!!!! 1970 Chevelle - No interior / No drivetrain. NO TITLE. Vin number has been run through NC DMV and is clear and ready to be titled. - Original Gobi Beige with saddle interior built in Atlanta the 3rd week of February - Body has perfect firewall, trunk and floors. - Good tinted glass (no windshield) - Doors need some work in the corners and driver door has a dent that has been partially pulled out - New quarters and roof skin are on the car but need a lot of finish work as they were not put on very well. - Car still needs trunk drops and outer wheelhouses. - Original A/C car and I believe that I have all the original A/C components still and they are in pretty good condition. - Frame has been stripped and painted. - New upper and lower control arms with polyurethane bushings in the front. (Cost $400 new) - Brand New UMI Tubular Upper and Lower Control Arms in the Rear (Cost $300 new) - Brand new front disc brake setup (Cost $350 new) - Tail Panel - Brand new in the Box (Cost $130 new) - BBC Headers -- Brand New in the Box (Cost $250 new) - Misc parts and trim: original radiator, original power booster, original power steering setup with brackets, solid front sway bar, original driveshaft, bumper filler panels, kick panels, arm rests, grill, wiring harness, pillar covers, hood hinges, pulleys, lenses, tag mount, 1968 core support in good shape, 1970 core support with lower rust, rear arm rests with ash trays, starter, washer pump and motor. The picture of the disc brakes shows the car with Hotchkis lowering springs and KYB shocks. These springs and shocks are not included with the car. I also have an Energy Suspension Polyurethane Hyperflex Master Kit for 1968 -- 1972 Chevelle - Brand New in Box (Cost $240 new) that is not included with the car but listed in another auction that I will include with the car if reserve is not met in the bushing auction. Please feel free to call with any questions or offers. Check out my other auctions for LS1 parts, T56 transmission parts, and 1967 - 1969 Camaro parts. One more thing...I have a 1971 4 Door Skylark that looks like it just came off the showroom floor that I will also be listing shortly. Car is absolutely gorgeous and runs and drives just like new (see last 3 pictures). 336.339.6867 Thanks- Rick On Aug-01-11 at 13:53:57 PDT, seller added the following information: I just want to clarify that this body still needs a lot of work. I'm getting questions and comments from people whom seem to think they are just going to be able to drop in a motor and transmission and hit the ground running. This is a PROJECT vehicle. Yes, it comes with some good parts and the firewall, floors and trunk are in very very good shape in comparison with the rest of the body but the car is no where near ready for paint much less being road worthy. Like I previously said....the quarters and roof (although new) were not put on very well and will require additional work. They have a good bit of mud on the seams and butted areas. This was an original vinyl top car and will need work around both front and rear window channels, it also will need the tail panel replaced (I have a new one still in the box to include with the car). I'm not trying to talk anyone out of buying the car I just do not want any surprises upon pickup/delivery of the vehicle. Also, I have an absolute rust free 71 Chevelle that I bought to restore and do not foresee myself getting around to it anytime soon. That being said, I have bought a lot of brand new parts for the car that I may be willing to sell to whoever wins this auction. Parts include Currie 9" rear, stainless fuel and brake line kit, stainless steel gas tank, factory saddle bench seat interior.
