1967 Ford F100 Flareside for Parts or Restoration. 1967 was the first year for this body style, there were only 18,307 made, and this one happens to have been resting in my field for the past 20+ years. It has a 300 cubic inch, inline 6 cylinder motor with a three speed standard transmission (shifter on the column). I tried to start the motor, it turned about a quarter and stopped, I couldn't get it to turn anymore. (If I have time I'll keep working on it). When this truck was running it had incredible torque and pickup, it could smoothly go from 10mph to top speed with no hesitation or bucking. The running gear was good when I parked it. I had to remove the rear brake drums because the brakes were frozen, now it rolls freely. The body, floors, cab and corners are pretty rusty, and the wood in the bed is gone. The frame looks good and solid, and the rear springs are from a 1969 and are the heavy duty style. The interior is in pretty good shape. I have a seat cover over the seat (stapled on) so I don't want to remove it, but I think the seat is semi-okay (can't really remember). The heater core is missing, and the battery doesn't go with it. The hubcaps aren't original, they might be for a thunderbird (they have a picture of a bird on them). This would be a great winter project. VIN# F10BEA324469
