This is a 1988 Volvo 240 DL Wagon. These older 240 units were almost indestructable. It is sold with no reserve. The 2.3L four cylinder engine runs 100% with no smoke or miss. The automatic transmission has developed a problem where it doesn't want to shift to high gear. Not sure what that's all about. The exterior is in pretty good shape for the year and miles. No major dents or dings (see pics). No body rust. The tires have lots of tread. There are several chips on the windshield. All the exterior lights are working. The steering, brakes and suspension seem good. It may have a small exhaust leak. The interior could probably use a cleaning. The seats are leather and the front seats are heated. All the seats, with the exception of the driver seat, have no holes or rips. The door pockets are missing (see pic). The radio is missing but the wiring harness is there. The windows are manual. The power door locks work. The AC is warm. This vehicle is being sold by a Maryland Used Car Dealer. We require, on all internet sales, a $200 internet fee which covers document, clerical, airport transportation and all other auction related expenses. This fee can be waived if purchased on our lot.
