Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a 1975 Ford Bronco. This bronco has a good running 302. It starts right up and runs fine but is leaking some oil. It has dual exhaust. Also, has a small exhaust leak at the donut gasket on the drivers side. Engine compartment needs some cleaning. Power steering fluid has sprayed out and made everything look dirty. It has a manual transmission with the shifter on the column. The shifter is tight and clutch works fine. It has power steering that works excellently (pressure side hose is leaking. Will be replaced by the end of the auction). The brakes work fine (drum all the way around). All the 4-wheel drive seems to be in good shape. Needs shocks on front. The tub of this bronco is in great shape. It is very solid. The door posts and strikes are in almost perfect shape. The frame is in very solid shape. No rot at all. But it does have rust in the door skins, front fenders, and tailgate and some in the bottom of the rockers. All could be repaired or replaced fairly easily. I have closer pics available. Just send me your email address and what you want to see. The quarter panel seams are in good shape, just a few places coming through the paint but no rot. This is an older paint job and is not perfect. The red paint is peeling in the grill area and the original white is starting to show through. The top has been patched on the passenger side and has some rust here and there. It has had body work on the pass. fender. Has a long scuff on the pass. side that I have not tried to buff out but I'm sure it would come right out. Looks like a limb dragged along it. Floor pans have been replaced and are very solid. Rear floor is in great shape. Most of the exposed metal on the inside has been Rhino lined except for the very top. The pass. seat is in good shape and the driver's seat has some torn places (see photos). The dash pad is in great shape. All the glass is in good shape except for the windshield. It is cracked and needs to be replaced. It has front seat belts but the retractors don't work. All lights work except for the pass. tail light (I'm sure its the bulb). Wipers work. Heater motors works. Everything is operational. Has very nice set of Super Swampers (34X10.50-15LT) with lots of tread. They are on later model stock Ford wheels. With a little TLC this bronco would be a great bronco to drive daily, or drive while you restore. Or you could use it in the woods immediately. THE CHROME FRONT BUMPER DOES NOT GO WITH THE BRONCO. I had taken the PTO winch bumper off to go a different route but the plans changed again!! I will include the PTO winch bumper if the winning bidder wants it. I have tried to include everything but I'm sure I left something out. Please ask any and all questions before bidding! Thanks so much for looking and good luck!!On Aug-14-11 at 18:40:05 PDT, seller added the following information: Went out today and cranked the bronco after letting it sit for about 5 days without running. It smoked when it started up but after I ran it down the road a bit it cleared up. I feel sure that it needs valve seals being that it is the original engine. Just wanted to make everyone aware of this before the end of the auction. Also, I installed the new power steering hose. Thanks
