Please scroll down for more pictures! Thanks for looking at this 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX in World Rally Blue with just over 173k miles. I am listing this Subaru for my son (Mike). I am currently in possession of this WRX and it will not be driven (test drives excluded) until it has a new owner. Mike has owned this Subaru for about 16 months and he has driven it approx 20K miles. Mike treats his cars like he is going to keep them the rest of his life but ends up getting bored with them and getting another vehicle after a year or two. Unlike many of the used WRX models on the market, this Subaru has been mechanically unmolested and is still very stock. The previous owners were obviously meticulous and and Mike has continued the tradition. During his ownership of this WRX Mike has done five Mobil 1 full synthetic oil changes. The curent oil change has approx 2K miles use. Mike has also recently (6 months ago) done a transmission fluid change with Redline MT-90 synthetic manual transmission fluid. This Subaru starts, idles, runs and drives excellent. The clutch is strong. Brakes are smooth and with good pedal. There are NO warning lights (ie check engine, ABS, SRS, etc.). There are NO fluid leaks and this WRX is not an oil burner. Mike has never had to add a drop of oil between changes. Tires are all matching Continental "Conti Extreme Contact" mounted on newer 2007 WRX 17 inch wheels. Tires are worn evenly and have a little over 5/32 tread remaining. The exterior of this WRX is very clean and rust free. It has a clean history revealing no accidents and the body panels (fenders, doors, hood, trunk and qtr panels) are original. Both fenders, the hood and front bumper of this Subaru have been repainted. The quality of the paintwork is decent...it looks good at 5 feet but close inspection reveals some imperfections. The paintwork color matches excellent and I don't think anyone would notice unless you pointed it out to them. The passenger corner of the rear bumper does have a scrape (please reference pictures) and has been been touched up. There is also a dime sized paint chip on the hood scoop that has been touched up. This Subaru does have some minor dings and pecks that would be considered normal for a 9 year old car. Three wheels have curb rash and I have included pictures to show the damage. The interior is in great shape. No rips, tears, or stains. There is light wear on driver's seat from entry/exit. Mike is not a smoker and it does not smell and appears to be an essentially smoke free car. The floor mats are original and do have a bit of discoloring. Other items of note: This WRX has OEM yellow foglights from Subaru made by Hella Mike added an OEM turbo boost gauge located on the steering column and the WRX is pre-wired for the installation Mike changed the tailights from the 2002 year model to the 2005 WRX STi type because he thought they looked better I am a licensed independent Kentucky Dealer. I have been in business for 16 years. I have no Office Staff or Sales People. I feel I have succeeded by being honest and keeping very low overhead. I try very hard to sell vehicles on Ebay that are in excellent condition. I try to be complete and inclusive in my descriptions. If a vehicle does have any flaws or problems I do my best to make sure I list them. I realize that is is hard to buy a major purchase from a dealer that is out-of-town with no assurances and only pictures to veiw.
