Vehicle Detail
Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Listing is for a complete 1991 5cyl Audi 3B 20V turbo engine/transmission and all related wiring harnesses Engine comes with all bolt on hardware still attached; has 105K miles on it. Shipping should not be a problem as you can easily get the drive train home in it's very own sheet metal shipping container. On wheels. Yes, that's right - I'm throwing in all the parts necessary to make getting this engine conversion home an easy job. Ship your motor purchase in Air Conditioned comfort (still works on R12), with the Cruise Control on while cradled in your beautiful un-torn Heated Leather Seats (heaters still work.) Laugh at the rain and bad weather as you ride home on your excellent condition Michelin HyrdoEdge tires (with about 75 - 80% tread left). Rust? What rust? We don't got no stinkin' rust! (Never wrecked either - with the exception of passenger's side rocker panel that was curbed by PO and never fixed - see picture .) You will not have to worry about the security of your shipping container on the way home - use the time to think about that upcoming engine transplant and how easy it will be with all the parts handy. Things you might want to know about the pile of free parts: Slight drivetrain vibration about 55 - 60 (it does have 11 CV joints) - started when disreputable Audi/VW shop put in a new clutch assembly and transmission (I think it's the driveshaft.) Also - shifting into 1st and 2nd is a bit 'vague' at times. Started same time as issue above. I just ignore it. May be just a linkage adjustment issue, maybe not. Also, headliner in the rear has started to do that Audi 'sag' thing. I tell it not to but it does NOT listen. Also, needs one cat replaced to pass emissions as it disintegrated a couple years ago and was cleaned out (no inspections where I live - Woo-oooo!!). Also, return tube from hydraulic pump to reservoir leaks when the car sits. Drive it every day and not a drop. Park it for a week or two and you get a VERY small puddle (half dollar size maybe.) But hey, you're buying a motor and wiring harness so why are we even arguing about these things? May be a few things I've missed but these are the basics. Will not sell parts; will not consider 'low ball' offers - it's not that much money, I'll just keep it. Call any time people are normally awake if you have any questions. 866-634-1524 (My shop number.)(Make sure to find the picture of the BEST WARNING LABEL EVER PUT IN A VEHICLE!)
